PHOTAVIA had an inspiring time at the 39th Annual Wisconsin Representatives of Activity Professionals (WRAP) Conference 2017. The Photavia team introduced it's Activity Programming to activity directors for memory care, assisted living, and senior community large group and one on one activity sessions. Pat Durham from Heritage at Deer Creek Community featured Photavia in her presentation, “Those Precious Gems”. She explained how she uses PHOTAVIA in her monthly activities schedule. The programming has also been used as a resident focused care tool to reduce anxiety. The Photavia MOMENT IN TIME series features iconic images that spark memories, promotes reminiscing and engages communities/individuals in conversation.

Alzheimer’s: Soft Launch 2016

May 2016, PHOTAVIA was introduced in a soft launch to the Alzheimer’s community at the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Association Annual Meeting in Wisconsin Dells. With over 1000 members of Wisconsin’s Alzheimer’s Administrators, Caregivers and Suppliers we got an opportunity for some great feedback. The overall reaction to The Photavia Project was incredible. Viewers were engaged, they understood the general concept, and loved the overall presentation. Some thought PHOTAVIA was related to another existing network and they felt the branding and production of the V-Clips were superior to many existing programming. Viewers had exceptional experiences and shared many very positive comments. We are following up with a number of agencies and interested folks that would like to get a subscription and or be a part of the next round of testing.

Photavia Members at the Event:

Paul Wendelberger, Director of Healthcare/Experience
