Joe Hausch, Creative Director
Joe has been called many things, but Entrepreneur, Inventor, Artist, Designer, Musician make sense. What he loves to do: Strategic and Creative Services for start-ups/small businesses and Not-for-Profits. Branding/Logos are a strength and he has had his hands on over 500 logo/branding assignments in his short 30 year career. He finds time to invest in his family and community as a coach and local board supporter. He formed Hausch Design Agency in 2001 and has served clients in hospitality, construction, manufacturing and architecture categories to name a few. Sometimes he even gets out and makes music with some friends. Joe’s Mantra: Serve. Conquer. Change.
Paul Wendelberger, Designer, Director of Experience
Paul has over 20 years in healthcare working with teams in medical, manufacturing, healthcare insurance and hospital systems. With combined business knowledge in Marketing Communications as well as Facilities Planning and Development in the Healthcare industry, Paul strives to create a positive change that impacts both personal and business growth.
Mark Winter, Photographer, Videographer, Director/Producer
Mark’s experience as a videographer, movie maker and his interest in all things photography along with his incredible organizational skills have made him quite an important component in The Photavia Project and the Creative Group. Besides PHOTAVIA, some of Mark’s work includes Producing and Directing the short documentary “The Quilting Queen”, and Co-Producing the award winning short “Tough Cookie” that was also an official selection at the 2014 Chicago Wizard World Film Festival. A self proclaimed late bloomer, Mark graduated from The Art Institute of Wisconsin at the nubile age of 50 with a BFA in Digital Film and Video Production. Mark’s diverse work history includes everything from stand up comedy to being an Intelligence Analyst in the Army. Those experiences, coupled with over 20 years of sales, management, and business building, gives Mark a unique skill set that he brings to all of his productions. When he can find the time, Mark enjoys photography, travel, training in the martial arts, and playing with his grandson.
Bill Appleby, Director of Events, Project Planner/Coordinator
Bill knows how to put on an event. From gallery openings to concert promotion, Bill’s dreams turn into reality. The real big picture: His father was a very fine amateur photographer, so Bill had an appreciation for art all of his youth and decided to open a gallery dedicated to fine photography. He represented the LIFE Picture collection, as one of only 8 galleries in the world. He then helped establish the first collection of the embossed LIFE Picture Collection prints which are licensed and printed by only one printer in the world. For five years he observed people reacting to the work and the impact the LIFE Picture Collection; and those observations sparked an idea.
“The power of photography cannot be denied.” Bill had years of “aha” moments and experiences in the gallery, some people came in almost weekly; many to see all that was new. Others just came to stand and stare at their favorite photograph.
Bill’s hope and Mission as our Founder is to make PHOTAVIA® a global company which will have the power to influence, engage, educate and ultimately make the world a better place.
